The best way

to be a writer

is to put the words on the page

and hit publish.

And when that doesn’t work;

when you can’t get them perfect enough to publish,

speak them into the camera

so you can see

that your voice is even less perfect

than your pen.

It’s much harder to hit the backspace

on your video.

So go back

to your last draft

and look at it again

with your new perspective.

You can publish it,

I know you can.

It’s good enough.

You’re good enough.

You’re enough.
